product description

Ideas are powerful and often one…just one, can change your business and your life. If you don't believe this, just pick up the phone and call Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Howard Shultz or Bill Gates. (Well maybe not…they tend to be pretty busy.)

As a lifetime entrepreneur, and the creator of several successful companies the “big idea question” always fascinated Mac Anderson. In fact, Mac’s inspiration for this book was based on one simple question… How do big ideas happen? Is there a process or a formula? Is it something that is teachable or repeatable, or do big ideas just “bubble up” when minds are curious and open to change?

Although every success story is different, sometimes just reading how it happened can “spark” your imagination into action. Sometimes just learning about an individual who was willing to take the risk to follow his or her dream and fight through adversity to keep it alive, might be just the “push” you need. This collection of “Big Idea Stories” was not only written with the entrepreneur in mind, but was also written to inspire innovation within existing companies. Far too often, companies “roll on” with the status quo, only to wake up one day to find that competition has passed them by.

Whether your ambition is to start your own company or you want to apply “Big Idea” thinking to your existing company — What’s the Big Idea? is sure to help spark many new ideas to make your big idea the next success story!

What's The Big Idea
I truly love reading all of Simple Truths books. From each one you take away ideas that will help you in your personal life or business. The same is with this one. We all have ideas, it is taking them to the next level that is often the hardest step. Reading about how Mac Anderson, Mary Kay, Ray Kroc, Sam Walton and many others took there ideas do the next level. Very inspirational book. I have enjoyed reading this book to my kids to let them know they can be anything and do anything with there ideas.

    What's The Big Idea
The best thing for me to say is that if I could own everything that Simple Truth's produces, I would. I live by quotes, these special books, inspiration to live life to the fullest, the connection of people's experience in professional and personal circumstances is always refreshing. I look forward to EVERYTHING I receive from Simple Truths. The newsletters are incredible, the hope, faith and love of every page and short video make my world complete. I share with everyone I know! I have recently submitted information to Mac regarding a 12 song celebrity CD collaboration that I am working on that is benefiting the Special Olympics. I wish that some how I could connect directly with Mac and Simple Truths would consider partnering with us on this is extraordinary project. It is so in line with the love, hope, faith and inspiration that we are celebrating with the world both nationally and internationally for people to unite despite disability, race, religion etc. I have recited so many things that I have read from Simple Truths while sharing with others how we want to make a difference in this world. Thank you for giving the world such a gift... "It's not the things you get but the hearts you touch that will determine your success in life". My Special Olympic project entitled "On A Very Special Note" is in production and celebrity participation has been a beautiful thing. Every time I read the quote above, it reminds me that though we are still working on the investment end... we are already successful in the hearts we have touched along this journey thus far. Again I thank you for being. And for making my heart smile on a daily basis as Simple Truth's is always at my fingertips and a daily routine in starting my day. True stories of how great companies got started such as FedEx, Mrs. Fields Cookies, Starbucks, McDonald's, Amazon.com, many others, and the best for last, Mac Anderson's company, Successories. An idea, a whole lot of belief, and ACTION...that's it!! Read this book if you want to believe in your IDEA!!
