product description

The title of this beautiful book was inspired by a great quote from Vivian Greene: “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s about learning how to dance in the rain!”

How true it is! We all face adversity in our life. However, it’s not the adversity, but how we react to it that will determine the joy and happiness in our lives. During tough times, do we spend too much time feeling sorry for ourselves, or can we, with gratitude, learn how to dance in the rain?

It almost sounds too simple to feel important, but one word—gratitude—can change your attitude and thus your life, forever. Sarah Ban Breathnach may have said it best: “When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that’s present… We experience heaven on earth.”

Mac Anderson and BJ Gallagher have written a classic on “the awesome power of gratitude.” No matter what your circumstances are, you will read this book and feel extremely blessed!

    A must read.
I absolutely love this book. It's easier to be grateful when everything is going right in your life. It's when the storms come we need to be more grateful. I found my story in this book. Every home needs this book on their coffee table. Thanks for writing this book.

Read and smile through tough times
I lost my 24 year old son and I felt like I lost my life at the time. But with in that horrible loss many blessings have come my way. We all have terrible storms in our lives at one time or another, this book will help you look at the good, blessings you still have so you can dance in the rain. When Ryan was a little boy we would run outside and look for the rainbow after every thunderstorm. I have given this book to many people to read and then pass along to some one they know is having a storm in their life, so they too can learn to look for that rainbow. Or dance in the rain!
        Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Dancing In The Rain
I gave this to a granddaughter who will be graduating from high school next month. She will be attending college with a major in dance. Of course I read the book and it has been helpful especially for an 85 year old senior. I use the "glad game" often and have passed it on to several other seniors in the retirement community where I live. The "glad game" attitude has been much appreciated by everyone.
